DISCOVERY DANCE CAMP - AGES 3-6 | Fun dance styles with theme days are featured in this two-hour program. Introduction to music rhythm and daily art projects are included. Dancers will be grouped by birthday.

BALLET DANCE CAMP - AGES 7-9 | A half-day summer workshop designed to introduce previously trained young dancers to the ballet arts.

BALLET INTENSIVE SUMMER WORKSHOP - AGES 10-18 | A full-day workshop designed to challenge the intermediate to advanced dancer who is seriously interested in the ballet arts, and to introduce other dance disciplines.

BALLET MINI-INTENSIVE (BALLET LEVELS IV-VI)
For additional ballet training and to help our dancers prepare for future summer study, we are offering a four day mini-ballet intensive: two hours daily of ballet instruction with master teacher Seth Belliston. Enrollment is on a first-come-first-served basis by Fall 2026 ballet level, and will be limited.
Dates: Monday, June 8 — Friday, June 12 COST: $250
Ballet IV and V • 10:00am — 12:00pm
Ballet VI-A and VI-B • 1:00pm — 3:00pm
MOTION: A MULTI-GENRE INTENSIVE - AGES 10-18 | This afternoon workshop is designed to challenge the intermediate to advanced dancer in a diverse range of dance
disciplines, including jazz, contemporary, modern, and musical theater. Previous training in jazz is recommended.
Dancers will be divided according to experience/ability.

MARGO DEAN SCHOOL OF BALLET

Take your training to the next level this summer with the Margo Dean School of Ballet’s Annual Summer Dance Workshop, running June 1–19 in Fort Worth.

Designed for intermediate to advanced dancers ages 10 and up, this immersive three-week experience offers daily classes in ballet technique, pointe, variations, musical theater dance, and flamenco—giving students the chance to grow both technically and artistically in a focused, inspiring environment.

This year’s workshop features an exciting lineup of guest faculty, including Rubén Gerding (Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts), Brandon Nguyen (formerly of Atlanta Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and Ballet Concerto), and Melian Gaunt (formerly Charleston Ballet Theatre, Metropolitan Classical Ballet, and Ballet Concerto).

Students will also train with esteemed resident faculty Melanie Malone, a veteran of national musical theater tours, and Perla Montoya, a celebrated local specialist in flamenco and Spanish dance, and associate director Webster Dean.

Classes take place at Margo Dean School of Ballet, located at 3803 Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth. Classes in adult ballet, flamenco, and tap will also be offered.

TEXAS YOUTH BALLET
June 20 - July 25. TYB trains the whole dancer in an environment with small class size, lots of individual attention, and strong fundamentals taught by Guest Instructors and TYB Staff. Our Summer Intensive, located just minutes from Historic Downtown McKinney, has 5-weeks of instruction in ballet technique and other dance disciplines with the goal of preparing the dancer for the next step of their journey.
