Jay Jackson Natalie Skelton for the Glenda Brown Choreography Project
Jay Jackson, with an eye for new and inventive movement, is an aspiring choreographer
inspired by Bob Fosse. Jay hopes to one day create a company with every race, shape and
size in his ensemble of dancers (or more accurately stated, his ensemble of “real people”).
As a choreographer Jay hopes to soon draw every emotion out of his audience— discomfort,
bliss, confusion. Jay’s advice for other blossoming choreographers?
“Talk less, listen more.”
