June 7 Ministry of Truth Summer Film Fest presents its season opener, UNBROKEN: The Untold Shen Yun Story. What happens when artists become targets simply for preserving a culture and telling its story? UNBROKEN follows the world-renowned classical Chinese dance company Shen Yun Performing Arts as it rises to global acclaim while facing intimidation, threats, and alleged interference linked to the Chinese Communist Party. In attendance: Jesse Browde and Lucas Browde, principal dancers; their father, Levi Browde; and New York Times bestselling author Jan Jekielek, author of Killed to Order. Pegasus Contemporary Ballet presents Synergy 2026— Dallas’s must-see summer event, where visionary choreography meets the power of live music performances featuring Cure for Paranoia, Artist of the Year awardee at the 2026 Dallas Entertainment Awards, and Dallas Native Brianne Sargent. 7:30PM | Moody Performance Hall, 2520 Flora St, Dallas, TX | Tickets. | $20 Student rush tickets available with a valid student ID in-person 90 minutes prior to the performance.

June 18–21Ballet Concerto’s beloved Summer Dance Concert invites audiences to celebrate under the stars with a special tribute to America’s 250th birthday. A highlight of the 2026 program isBallet Americana, choreographed by Ballet Concerto founding artistic director Margo Dean and set to rousing patriotic music by John Philip Sousa. Created as a joyful tribute to the spirit of America, the work celebrates unity, tradition, and the enduring power of the arts. The program also features a striking Spanish contemporary work by resident choreographer Elise Lavallee, as well as an exciting new work by Ballet Concerto alum Brandon Nguyen, showcasing the continued evolution of the company’s artistic voice. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnics, and beverages to enjoy an evening of professional dance in a beautiful outdoor setting. 8:30PM | The Shops at Clearfork. Lawn seating is free with no ticket required.
