Key 'Andrea James 21 ~ Darryl Sneed Memorial Scholarship

Key'Andrea James of Monroe, Louisiana, is a junior at Grambling State University and member of their renowned Orchesis Dance Company. There, she trains under the artist direction of Dianne Maroney-Grigsby. Key, as she is known, is also a member of the Louisiana Dance Theatre/Foundation, under the artistic direction of Carol Anglin.

Some of Key's accomplishments include a workshop at the Alvin Ailey School and performing at Regional Dance America's Festival Gala. Most recently, she participated in Dallas Black Dance Theatre's summer intensive and plans to further her dance studies by attending more workshops and intensives.
