April 11 - 12. Ballet Frontier presents ballet's quintessential romantic comedy, Don Quixote, and follows the hilarious story based on the novel of the same title by Miguel Cervantes. TThis ballet features a beautiful Spanish setting, music by Minkus, and brand new choreography from artistic director Chung Lin Tseng and University of Utah professor Jay Kim.  April 11 at 7:30PM and April 12 at 2:00PM | I.M. April 18. Dance Council of North Texas proudly presents Dance Planet 29: Dance in America on from 10AM–5PM at The Hockaday School. This free, family-friendly event celebrates 250 years of American dance, inviting audiences to experience and participate in a dynamic journey through the evolution of dance styles shaped in the U.S.

The day begins at 11AM with local A.C.E. Native American dancers and features nationally recognized guest artists including Catherine Turocy, Lori Belilove, Acia Gray, and Phil Wright, alongside interactive performances by the North Texas Square Dancers and the Dallas Swing Dance Society.

Additional North Texas companies will showcase a wide range of styles—including Indian Classical, belly dance, jazz, tap, modern, ballet, and contemporary—highlighting the diversity of dance in our region. April 25 - 26. Ballet Ensemble of Texas (BET), celebrating their 25th Anniversary Season perform Cinderella at Coppell Arts Center. The Prince is Having a Ball! The event will feature a Silent Auction featuring BET dancer-decorated pointe shoes, a Champagne Toast with commemorative glasses, a live auction of a Pointe Shoe autographed by the “real” Cinderella from Walt Disney World, and many other fun activities!
