NIESHA SMITH 17  South Dallas Dance Festival Scholarship

Niesha Smith began dancing at the age of two at KJ Dance in Plano, Texas. She continued to train at KJ Dance until accepted at Booker T. Washington High for the Performing and Visual Arts and joined Repertory Dance Company I. While in the Company, Niesha performed works by Robert Battle, Chris Vo, Larry Keigwin, Nathan Trice, Jessica Lang, Kate Skarpetowska, and Debra McWaters. 

Niesha would like to attend the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance Summer Intensive held in San Francisco, California. Niesha feels this intensive would challenge her physically and intellectually. She enjoys working hard and advancing her knowledge of dance as an art form.
