Area Auditions

Dance Theatre of Arlington is holding auditions Sat, August 23 at 10am, 222 W. Main Street, Arlington Tx 76010. For info call, 817-860-1327. Dancers 16 - 24 | Rehearsals on Saturdays from 10AM-12PM.

Saturday 6th September
1:00pm - 2:15pm - Ages 6-8 (12:30pm checkin)
2:30pm - 4:00pm - Ages 9-10 (2:00pm checkin)
4:15pm - 6:00pm - Ages 11-12 (3:45pm checkin)
Sunday 7th September
2:00pm - 3:00pm - Warm up Class for Ages 13+ including advanced dancers (1:30pm checkin)
3:15pm - 4:15pm - Audition for Act 1 & corps roles - all
4:30pm - 6:00pm - Advanced roles for Act 2 for those asked to stay
Rehearsals will start the weekend of September 27th/28th
There will be no rehearsals weekend of October 11th/12 for Columbus Day weekend

The Nutcracker Audition fee: There is a $50 nonrefundable audition fee due by September 6th. This audition fee will be applied toward the Nutcracker Participation fee.

The Nutcracker Participation fee:

1 Dancer - $200 

2 Dancers - $300

3 Dancers - $350

LakeCities Ballet Theatre will audition dancers 5 and up for its 35th Annual Nutcracker Production in the Lewisville community! To celebrate this special anniversary, there will be two performances of  "The Nutcracker "and one performance of our popular, "The Nutty Nutcracker" on Thanksgiving Weekend, Young children will not be needed for "Nutty Nutcracker."
When:  Audition is Saturday, Sept 6 from 10am to 4:30pm with specific times for each age group. 
Where: The Ballet Conservatory at 1400 FM 407 in Lewisville, Texas
Performance Dates: November 28 to 30, 2025
