Ballet Ensemble of Texas 2026–2027 Season Audition

Take the next step in your dance journey by auditioning for the Ballet Ensemble of Texas, the official performing company of Ballet Academy of Texas. Join a dedicated group of young artists who perform throughout the North Texas area while continuing their classical ballet training.
Audition Requirements
Minimum age 12
Evaluated for Level 6 or above at Ballet Academy of Texas
(Bring pointe shoes if you have completed at least one year of pointe training)
Currently taking five or more ballet classes per week, exclusively at Ballet Academy of Texas
Available to rehearse on Tuesday evenings, select Thursday evenings, and Saturday afternoons from August through May
2026–2027 Performance Season
December 5–6 – The Nutcracker – Irving Arts Center
April 24–25 – George Skibine's The Firebird and Other Works – Coppell Arts Center
May 15 – Ballet Academy of Texas Spring Gala – Coppell Arts Center
Additional performances are to be announced.
Ballet Frontier's Youth Nutcracker auditions give young dancers the opportunity to rehearse and perform with our professional dancers and artistic staff in the holiday classic, The Nutcracker. Ballet training is required of all ages. The audition fee is $30. Please bring ballet flats and pointe shoes for those en pointe.
Audition Date & Time: Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 at Ballet Center of Fort Worth
9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. ages 12 & up*
10:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m. ages 9-11
11:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m. MANDATORY PARENT MEETING
12:00 p.m.-12:45 p.m. ages 7-8
You can register and pay the $30 audition fee online, at the studio, or over the phone. *Ballet Frontier is thrilled to open our Nutcracker Youth Auditions up to those 12 and up to join Ballet Frontier's Youth Company this season! Ballet Frontier's Youth Company Dancers perform alongside the professional company throughout the season in full length classical ballets and exciting new works like Swan Lake, Romeo & Juliet, The Nutcracker, and Pinocchio. If your dancer is interested in joining Ballet Frontier's Youth Company please check yes on the registration form.

Ballet IV/V/VI 3:00 PM — 5:45 PM
Attire for Girls: Black (or level color) leotard, pink tights, pink ballet & pointe shoes, hair in bun
Attire for Boys: White t-shirt, black tights, white or black shoes/socks

Ballet Papillon is thrilled to invite professional artists with strong classical and contemporary training to audition for its 2026-2027 season. We are seeking male and female dancers with exquisite technique and who are passionate about sharing their artistry by delivering dynamic and diverse performances to our audiences. In-person auditions will take place in Dallas, Texas via open class. Paid and unpaid positions are available. Visit www.balletpapillon.org to learn more about our company.
