Holly Seeley ~ Artful Dancewear Scholarship

My name is Holly Seeley and I am the director and owner of Preston Hollow Dance in Dallas, Texas. I hold a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in dance from Texas Woman’s University. 

Having studied ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, improvisation, and numerous other styles, I am inspired by and enthusiastic about all forms of dance. I have performed with the Jazz Ballet Company of Austin, Commedia Ballet Theatre, Larrwell Productions, TWU, and more. 

I find every stage of human development fascinating, and I enjoy teaching students from toddlers to adults. I am committed to facilitating a rigorous and broad dance education for all learners while focusing on the personal growth and goals of each student.

I am working on several fun and original projects this year. As a certified bilingual educator, I am developing a Spanish/English bilingual dance program. This language immersion program will increase young students’ knowledge of dance technique and promote second language acquisition. Outside of the dance studio, my patented invention, The Travel Angel, which I developed for the dance and performance community, will be available in stores such as Sam Moon Luggage this fall. It is an upright suitcase with a built in garment rack on wheels.
